I’m a product designer based in the south of Brazil. I consider myself a creative person, I love activities like Lego, woodworking, and photography. I always worked designing products and studying design methodologies. Today I work as a Product Designer at Intelie by Viasat, designing products according to user needs and business strategy.
My journey
Creating things has always fascinated me. Facing problems and thinking about solutions is not just what I do today at work, but I have done it my entire life. Back in the day I built a collector for the lawnmower to help me with the task. Following my great interest in creating, I studied mechanical engineering. In a project class I choose to build an American football launcher using kart wheels.

In 2018 I went on exchange, I studied an undergraduate semester in Coimbra, Portugal. Not only did I get to know more about the world, but also about myself. I put myself in atypical situations that transformed me and made me a more open person, creating quick connections.

In mid-2019, during my design studies, I discovered UX/UI and, motivated to seek new challenges, I jump into the area. The book “The Design of Everyday Things” was very important to me because it connected the world of physical products with that of digital products, and from there I understood where I could apply my skills.

My career so far
I started my professional journey working as a trainee in the product engineering office at a John Deere tractor factory. For two years I saw first-hand how product designs evolved until they were implemented on a large assembly line. Then I did another internship in product design. When I returned from my exchange I worked as an Industrial Designer.
After graduating, I took a 6-month UX/UI training course. Then, I took a position as UX/UI Design Jr. at Pluga – a startup with only 12 employees that owns a software to automate daily tasks. It was an incredible journey where I could implement many design processes to create a new interface to the platform. When I leave there was almost 30 people on the company.
After almost 2 years on Pluga, I search for a new experience to work as a mid level designer, joining Intelie and is where I found myself today. Here I learned how to work with a lot of people with different expectations. Also learned a lot with the design chapter team.
